Recently, we gathered to celebrate a miracle: 25 years of IslamInSpanish. It was a moment to honor our history, but more importantly, it was the moment we planted the seeds for the next quarter-century.
We are now officially entering the era of IslamInSpanish 2050.
Our mission is to ensure that the Latino Muslim voice and the spirit of our diverse community in Texas continue to thrive, lead, and impact the world for the next 25 years and beyond. To achieve this vision, we are upgrading our digital infrastructure and launching our most imaginative projects to date.
1. Our New Digital Command Center: Substack To reach our 2050 goals, we need a modern, interactive home. We are moving our community updates to Substack. This won’t just be a newsletter; it will be a searchable library of our videos, articles, and impact reports. It will be designed to keep our global family connected and informed at the speed of the future.
2. The Launch of Legado Islámico: March 5th The first major milestone of the 2050 vision is the launch of Legado Islámico.
This platform will bring the soul and experience of our Houston and Dallas Centros into the digital space. Whether you are a new Muslim or a seasoned leader, Legado Islámico will provide the tools to build your own contribution to the 2050 vision:
